Lurpiv Trucks Are Back
After a few years off the market we're excited to announce that Lurpiv is back with the Lurpiv 2.0 trucks! After the original launch, there are some big changes to the Lurpiv 2.0 trucks. For the second round of Lurpivs Oskar Rosenburg has teamed up with Pontus Alv to help with the production and distribution, which is really rad. They've made some distinct changes for the better in terms of durability and functionality, but kept with the unique look that Lurpiv is known for.

I have been riding these trucks for the last 6 months, and have lots of input on them! I'll try and answer all the questions people have asked me about them, and feel free to add questions in the comment section and I will respond.
Here's the changes of the Lurpiv 2.0 Trucks:
New Factory:
This is the biggest and most important change. The original Lurpiv trucks were made in Sweden at a metal manufacturing plant. The second round of trucks will be made at the same factory in China that makes ACE & Independent trucks. It's no secret the original Lurpiv launch had many problems, most notably the bending axles and hangers. I'm very confident that these ones will not have these problems.
These trucks will also be made with the T6 Heat treatment which is injected not gravity poured, which makes the trucks extremely strong. This is the same fabrication that ACE AF1 trucks uses. Hanger and baseplates are AA357 Aluminium Alloy, kingpin is SMC435 steel, axle is SCM440 steel.

No Reverse Kingpin:
After the problems with the first Lurpiv trucks reverse kingpins loosening and falling off, the Lurpiv 2.0 trucks will not come in a reverse kingpin version, just a standard and a Hollow version. This will be wayyyy better and avoid all the problems of tightening that the originals had.
Anti Wheelbite Technology:
The hanger is built with this squared off design, which is designed so that the hanger actually hits the baseplate before giving you wheelbase. After riding them for 6 months, I definitely still got wheel bite with these trucks, but it did remove the amount of times I got severe wheelbite that makes to stop instantly.

Stable & Quick Response:
These are designed as quite a high truck (55mm, same as a Independent stage 4). I found them to be more stable than responsive (think Independent stage 11 not ACE AF1). But they are definitely a very smooth and controlled turn. They come stock with a yellow 92A bushing.
