Chocolate Skateboards is a sister company to Girl Skateboards; Girl made Chocolate Skateboards in April of 1994 (under the Girl umbrella) to make room for more friends who wanted to join the brand. They added all their friends that didn’t fit on the crowded team at Girl. Chocolate has had a very talented list of team riders including Keenan Milton, Chico Brenes, Mike York, Marc Johnson, Jerry Hsu, Justin Eldrige, Stevie Williams, Elijah Berle, Vincent Alvarez, Kenny Anderson, and Chris Roberts. Along with Girl, Chocolate has created their own version of the carbon fiber deck called the Pop Secret, it has a top sheet of fibreglass with 7 thinner plys of canadian maple for a long lasting pop and added strength.
