Girl skateboards is one of our best deck brands because of their quality goods, fantastic skate team through the years, and rich history in the skateboarding industry. In August of 1993; Mike Carroll, Rick Howard, Megan Baltimore, and Spike Jonze started Girl Skateboards. Girl was started as Mike Carroll and Rick Howard, who both rode for Plan B at the time, wanted to do their own company based on having fun, in vain of other companies replacing skaters on their team and cutting careers short. Girl has had a stacked team through the years including the likes of Eric Koston, Mike Carrol, Rick Howard, Guy Mariano, P-Rod, Sean Malto, Brandon Biebel, Mike Mo, Rick McCrank, Cory Kennedy, Andrew Brophy, Griffin Gass, and Breana Geering. Girl Skateboards have created their own version of the carbon fiber deck called the Pop Secret, it has a top sheet of fibreglass with 7 thinner plys of canadian maple for a long lasting pop and added strength.
