Shortys
Shorty's is one of the most iconic brands from the 90's era of skateboarding and the top selling hardware brand in the industry. Shorty's was started in the early 90's by Tony Buyalos and his girlfriend April Hamrick out of their bedroom with $200, they started shortys to create ideal street skating hardware that were stronger, lighter, and shorter as the hardware at the time was super long. The Hardware gained popularity quickly due to the lack of competition in that part of the industry. Because there was no competition for hardware at the time, Shorty's was able to build a completely stacked team that included the likes of Chad Muska, Sammy Baptista, Jesse Silva, Peter Smolik, Steve Olson, and many more.
